The Tiger I is a German heavy tank used in World War II, produced in late 1942 as an alternative to unexpectedly strong resistance of Soviet Army in the early months of Barbarossa Operation, especially the T-34 and KV-1. The Tiger I was the first Wehrmacht tank to have a main cannon up to 88mm, which had previously proven its effective against enemy tanks. During the course of the war, Tiger I took part in all fronts of the German. It was often deployed as separate battalions of tanks, with quite massive power. Although the maintenance is too complicated thus the vehicle is easy to malfunction and also costs a lot to build. Only 1,347 units were built from August 1942 to August 1944.
